What's buzz-worthy: Finest arrives for another summer with the same format as past years but with a new design, new players and some World Baseball Classic nods in the mix.

The Basics: The base set will consist of 100 cards with 25 short-prints atop that with the basic cards having a number of Refractor parallels. Joining standard Refractors will be Sky Blue (/300), Purple (/250), Purple/Aqua Vapor (/250), Aqua (/199), Aqua Shimmer (/175) Blue (/150), Green Speckle (/125), Green (/99), Green Lava (/99), Rose Gold (/75), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red/Black Vapor (/10), Red (/5), Purple/Pink Vapor (/3) and 1/1 Superfractors. ... For the 25 SPs, there will be Gold, Red and Supers their only parallels just like previous years. Rookies will have a design variation card as well (one per display box) with Refractors (/99), Golds, Reds and Supers at same volumes. ... There will be four insert sets this year with 2000 Topps Finest World's Finest cards for the top WBC stars out there as well as Finest Headlines, Finest Rivalries Die-cuts and Diamond Finest cards (/5) that will be among the rarest finds. The first three will have Gold, Red and Supers. The Finest will only have Supers for an added chase. ... Autographs will include Finest Autos and Finest Rookies design variation autos. These sets will have Blue (/150), Green (/99), Green Wave (/99), Gold (/50), Gold Wave (/50), Orange (/25), Orange Wave (/25), Red (/5), Red Wave (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels just like past years. ... Joining them will be six other autograph sets, including Finest Moments (with Gold, Orange, Red and Super parallels), 2000 Finest World's Finest (/TBD) autos (with Orange, Red and Supers), Finest Headliners (/50), Rivalries (/10), Finest buyback autos (/TBD) and Finest Mystery Redemptions (/99).
