What's buzz-worthy: This one arrives once again with a throwback look -- this time, a revisiting of the 1996 Topps Finest release -- but with today's players with ink and more to be found for a number of veterans and newcomers, too.

The Basics: The base set will consist of 200 cards (checklist above) with tiers -- 100 Bronze, 50 Silver, 25 Gold and then 25 SP Legends Gold cards. While the odds above detail everything, there will be Refractors, Refractors with protectors, Superfractors Silvers, Golds and some short-prints, too. The parallels will be rarer finds in many instances with some limited to only 10 copies. Rounding out a simple lineup are autos (one in six boxes), Superfractor autos (one in 440 boxes) and then buyback autos (/5) that are the rarest finds. ... Among the signers here? Juan Soto, Mike Trout, Julio Rodriguez, Shohei Ohtani, Corbin Carroll, Anthony Volpe, Michael Harris, Ronald Acuña Jr., Bo Jackson, Ichiro Suzuki, Derek Jeter and many others from both the past and present. The buyback autos are statistically rarer as the only signers there are Randy Johnson and Chipper Jones. ... Boxes initially cost $239.99 via Topps.com.
