What's buzz-worthy: It's once again time to turn back the clock a few years with Topps Heritage taking on 1974 for a final time this year with an arrival set for just a few weeks from now.

The Basics: The basic set will once again consist of 200 cards with 25 short-prints atop that. Parallels once again will include Black parallels (announced /50), flip-stock cards (announced /5) and Chromes for 50 cards with Refractors (/674), Silver (/374), Black (/74), Gold (/5), 1/1 Superfractors and Hot Box Refractors. There also will be Minis (/100), throwback, action image variations and color variations as well as missing signatures ... which would be variants on card backs ... as well as TRADED/SIGNED stamp variations.

Real One Autographs return with on-card ink and Red (/74 max) parallels and joining them will be MLB Highlights autos (/99) for a past All-Star Game. Also in there will be Clubhouse Collection Auto Relics (/25) with 1/1 Patch parallels that are hobby-only as well as some 1/1 MLB cut autos and a 1/1 non-baseball cut auto set, too. ... For standard Relics, there are Clubhouse Collection cards with Gold (/99) and 1/1 Patch parallels along with dual (/74), triple (/25) and quad (/10) cards all also with 1/1 hobby-only patch versions.

The standard insert lineup should be familiar with Rookie Performers, Now & Then, Combo Cards, Award Winners, 1974 Highlights, The Hammer and 1974 Topps baseball stamps. Rounding it all out will be 1974 jumbo box-toppers, 1974 Puzzles, Deckle Edge cards and original buyback cards from 1974.
