What's buzz-worthy: MLS arrives for collectors once again with a new crop of rookies, plenty of parallels and hits all in one spot.

The Basics: The 200-card base set once again will include 25 being Pitch Prodigies (rookies) just like previous years. They will also have parallels -- Soccer Tile, Blue (/99), Green (/75), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black as well as 1/1 Foilfractors. There will also be image variations in play with those only having a 1/1 Black parallel. ... Among the five insert sets here are Big City Strikers (one in 144 packs), Kitcore, Topps 1983 Futbol, The Top Shelf Terrors and Pearlers (one in 288 packs) Each will have Orange, Red and Black parallels with the same volumes as base parallels. ... The hits will include MLS Relics (/TBD) with Blue (/199), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25) and 1/1 Black parallels (same volumes) while Nameplate Patches (/4) cards are back will be in the mix along with 1/1 Team Crest Patches. Some Relics will have an autographed parallel (/TBD) with 1/1 Black versions. ... The autographs in this one once again will parallel the base set for selected players with parallels this year -- Blue, Gold, Orange, Red and Black at the same volumes as base parallels respectively.
