What's buzz-worthy: Panini's bringing the Kaboom! and more to international basketball collectors with this one, which includes a mix of past and present stars and plenty of variety, too.

The Basics: There will three base cards and three inserts in this one along with the hits in every box and that's it. Kaboom! cards are noted as "SSP" and will have Gold (/10) and 1/1 Black versions to chase, while other inserts include Sno Globe, Pillars of the Game, Test of Time, Hand Crafted and 25th Anniversary. ... The 100-card base set will have a parallel lineup that includes Royalty, Crystal Red (/49), Crystal Purple (/25), Crystal Gold (/10) and 1/1 Crystal Platinum. ... Autograph sets will include Royal Signatures, Majestic Signatures, Regal Achievements, Crown Jewel Signatures, Silhouettes, Kings, Court jersey autos, Treasured, Crown Crystal Red and Crown Crystal Platinum. ... Memorabilia sets will include Heirs to the Throne, Knights of the Round Table, Coat of Arms and Monarch. Also in play will be 1/1 Dual Flags and 25th Anniversary patches. ... Boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $100.
