What's buzz-worthy: Select once again hits the court with the same formula -- a tiered base set with plenty of parallels -- but a new rookie class, some new looks and a pair of box formats, too.

The Hobby Basics: Boxes will include 12 Prizms this time along with three other inserts and the hits. The base set will once again have its tiered approach with Concourse, Premier Level and Courtside with parallels not noted in full in advance. Some will include Blue Camo, White, Tie-Dye (/25), Gold (/10), Green (/5) and 1/1 Black Finite as well as "short-printed" Zebra and Gold Glitter. ... Among the ink will be Prime Selections, In Flight, Select Pairings, Select Few, jumbo rookie signature swatches and rookie jersey autos all with parallels, of course. ... Among inserts will be new Visionary and Solar Eclipse cards and they will be joined by Score Select Throwback, Sky High, Color Wheel, En Fuego and Select Future. ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $450.

H2 info: This one also will have H2 boxes with four six-card packs with the lone guarantees there being six Prizm cards just like last year. The Disco parallels were not detailed in advance but will include White, Gold and Black for starters. ... Autos will be possible here with RJAs as well as Rookie Signatures on Disco patterns just like last year. ... Only found here once again are Top Shelf Signatures and short-printed Artistic Selections inserts. ... These boxes once again will carry a suggested retail price of $250.

Update (June 11): There also will be hobby blaster and hobby mega boxes for this one with exclusives found in each format. Blasters (20 boxes per case) will have six four-card packs and include two Mojo parallels, three other Prizms and one insert. Hobby mega boxes will be the home to 10 exclusive Stars parallels, six other Prizms and two inserts within their 10 packs (also 20 boxes per case). Auto exclusives will be Green Star (/49) in megas with other inserts and hits also possible, while blasters will have Green Mojo autos (/35).
