What's buzz-worthy: Optic drops for a new year as a flashier take on Donruss football cards with 20 Rated Rookies cards per box for starters and even more to chase.

The Basics: Boxes will deliver the 20 Rated Rookies, four inserts and 12 parallels (nine of those numbered) similar to past years. ... The base set will include 200 cards with parallels -- not noted in advance -- while hits will include Rated Rookie RPS autos, Legendary Patch Autos and Rookie Patch Autos for starters. ... Among the inserts will be "ultra-rare" Downtown, Downtown Duos, My House! and Captain In Charge cards to name a few. Downtowns also will have International and Super Bowl versions. ... Boxes once again will carry a suggested retail price of $365.
