What's buzz-worthy: Contenders Optic once again drops for a new year with some new inclusions, new stars, some new looks and plenty of colorful autographs with big-pull potential.

The Basics: A typical box of this one will include two autographs, two base cards, one insert and one Season Ticket or Rookie Ticket parallel card just like last year. ... Among the finds will be Rookie Ticket autos, Induction Ticket autos, All-time Contenders autos, Legendary Contenders autos, 2004 Contenders Throwback rookie autos and 2014 Contenders Throwback rookie autos. Also in there will be rookie patch autos and, for starters, insert sets that include VIPs, Crown Jewels, Legitness, Now Contending, Up and Coming, Optic Illusions, Splitting Image and Lottery Ticket. Legitness and Now Contending will be rarer case-level pulls. ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $275.
