What's buzz-worthy: Panini America's photography-focused brand hits the gridiron for the first time after successful runs in other sports and it will pack plenty of star power -- past, present and future -- as part of the package.

The Basics: There will be 200 cards in the base set with parallels in play for all (not disclosed in full in advance) and joining them will be Rookie Portraits. ... Among the 10 inserts per box will be cards from the Progressions, Rookie Pix, Troops Tribute, For the Cure, Draft Snapshots, Rookie Introductions and A Different View sets. Also in play will be "ultra-rare" In-Motion, Avatars and The Shoe Game inserts. ... Among the hits will be Rookie Portraits autos, In the Action autos and Rookie Instants Signatures. ... A typical box will include five rookies, four parallels, 10 other inserts, the auto and 30 base cards. ... Boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $225.
