What's buzz-worthy: Prizm arrives for a new year documenting the NFL action with all of the color and flash, the new rookies and some other surprises.

The Basics: The format is the same as past years with the autos and base joined by 10 serial-numbered Prizms per box along with 24 Rookie Cards, four other Prizms (one a rookie) and the five other inserts. The set size and parallels were not revealed in advance. ... Among the hits will be Franchise Legends autos, rookie autos and rookie patch autos. ... Among the inserts will be Manga, Portals, Color Blast, Color Blast Duos as well as "super-short-printed" Prizmania, Aurora and Profiles cards. ... Boxes carry an increased suggested retail price of $465.

No Huddle: There will be No Huddle boxes for this one (Dec. 27) with an auto in every 10-pack box (20 boxes per case) along with 18 Rookie Cards, 10 No Huddle Prizms (four Silver, six numbered) and then seven No Huddle Prizm insert cards just like last time. Parallels will include Blue, Red, Purple, Pink and Neon Green Prizm. The exclusive No Huddle circles will be in play here on those. ... Boxes carry an increased suggested retail price of $315.

Update (Jan. 13): There will be hobby blaster boxes and hobby mega boxes for this one with exclusive inclusions for both (see gallery). that include Orange Ice and Purple Pulsar cards. Both will include six packs per box with megas having more cards per pack and a guaranteed memorabilia card each time.
