First Buzz: 2024 Press Pass Premium baseball cards (updated)

What's buzz-worthy: Press Pass takes to the diamond with the same approach as the gridiron -- plenty of ink, color and flash while showcasing newly drafted stars and others appearing on early cards.

The Basics: The base set here will include 100 cards, according to the company, with a box typically including four base and two parallels. There also will be a Retro design for 100 more cards, too, with those emphasizing past stars. Die-cut cards and various sets will be in play for this one just like in football with 2024 MLB Draft picks heavily in the mix as well as NIL signees like Ethan Holliday. Boxes will include four autos from the base or Retro sets and an insert auto limited to no more than 25 copies. Among the finds will be Triple Threat three-piece puzzles, On Fire diecuts, Impressive, Press Box and some other surprises including Dave Portnoy autos. Among other signers will be Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, Albert Pujols, Pete Rose, Nolan Ryan, Mookie Betts, Frank Thomas, Jim Palmer, John Smoltz, Joe Buck, Vin Scully and Ichiro Suzuki. Parallel info and a full lineup of the inclusions was not relased in advance for this one.
