First Buzz: 2024 Topps Finest Major League Soccer cards

What's buzz-worthy: Finest hits the pitch with plenty of color and flash for selected newcomers and plenty of retired stars all in one spot -- and it also includes some high-end inclusions that break away from the typical formula.

The Basics: The base set will be 300 veterans this time around -- Uncommon, Common and Rare -- with deep parallel lineups noted in the gallery.

Inserts will include base short-prints that are "super limited" and that same phrase applies to team logo cards, which will only have a Superfractor parallel. They'll be joined by Finest Debuts, Prized Footballers, Finest Dominators, MLS Pop Art (two per case) and Prized Footballers Fusion variations (one per case). The standard inserts will include Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Black (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Supers. Fusion will have a larger lineup noted in the gallery. HoloGlow variations also will nee one per case with Gold, Orange, Black, Red and Superfractor parallels, while Finest Idols are Bronze (one in 25 cases), Silver (one in 50) and Gold (one in 99).

Among the hits are Finest autos, Finest Debuts autos, Prized Footballers autos, Dominators autos, Now & Then dual autos, Legends autos and Finest Fabrics Relics. Parallel lineups for all of those are in the gallery. Rarer finds will be MVP autos (/5) with only 1/1 Supers and then 1/1 MLS Debut patch autos. Another high-end inclusion will be Renaissance auto Relics (/10) with Ruby (/5) versions to be found.
