What's buzz-worthy: Inception hits the gridiron for a new run with Topps, packing a trio of hits in every box with plenty of color and variety showcasing past and present football stars.

The Basics: Beyond the hits, each box will include one base card, one rookie, and two rookie parallels. There also will be one case hit in the mix each time. ... Base card and rookie parallels will include Green, Purple (/125), Magenta (/99), Red (/75), Orange (/50), Gold (/25), Blue (/10) and 1/1 Inception cards. There will be 50 rookies on the checklist for this one, including top picks from this past NFL Draft.

Among the autographs will be Provenance patch autos, rookie jumbo Relic autos, Franchise Foundation Relic autos, and dual rookie Relic autos. These will have Green (/150 max), Purple (/125 max), Magenta (/99), Red (/75), Orange (/50), Gold (/25), Blue (/10) and 1/1 Inception parallels. ... Also in the auto lineup will be Silver Signings (/100 max) with Gold Ink (/25 max) and 1/1 Gold Ink Inscriptions. Dawn of Greatness autos (/20 max) will have Orange (/10), Blue (/5) and 1/1 Inception aversions while two types of rookie autos finish things off, a standard set and a variation set. They'll have Green (/150), Purple, Magenta, Red, Orange, Gold, Blue and Inception parallels at the same volumes as base parallels, though some may be produced in lower volumes for particular players.

Among other hits -- booklets and memorabilia cards -- will be Genesis books and dual rookie Relic auto books with Green, Purple, Magenta, Red, Orange, Gold, Blue and Inception versions. (Same parallels and max volumes.) Relics will have jumbo rookies and standard memorabilia (/150 with seven parallels) as well as Freshman Initiation (/150) and Source Materials also with the seven parallels.

The two teased case hits -- falling one in eight boxes -- will be Launch and Inaugurations. No parallel details were revealed for those.
