What's buzz-worthy: Tribute arrives at the end of this month with its typical three-and-three premium format and with stars of the past and present all in play at same time.

The Basics: The base set will be 100 cards with the last 20 in that being rookies. There also will be a pair of SP rookies for new international signees Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Jung Hoo Lee. Clayton Kershaw gets the nod for this year's Career Achievement Award Continuity program of past years with 1/1 autos. ... Among the hits will be Tribute autos, Iconic Perspectives autos, League Inauguration autos, Tip of the Cap auto Relics and Pillars of the Game autos for starters. There also will be Tribute Tandem book cards, Calling The Shot dual autos, Tribute to the Threads Relic autos, patch autos, Prime Patch auto Relics, Milestone Relics autos, Cooperstown Cuts Relics, Stamp of Approval Relics, single-player dual Relic, dual-player Relics, triple-player Relics and Milestone Relics. ... Update: Odds have been added so parallel details can be found there. Boxes opened at $499.99 and cases at $2,999.94 direct via Topps. Also in play will be Tribute to 1955 buybacks with original cards placed in a frame.
