What's buzz-worthy: Donruss arrives for another baseball season with a mix of past greats and future stars on a variety of looks -- and with a bunch of Optic cards in there, too.

The Basics: Each 192-card hobby box of this one will include 24 Optic cards, 24 inserts and then the base cards and hits. ... Among the inserts will be Unleashed, Debut Dominance and Hit List, while "ultra-rare" finds will be Stained Glass and Night Moves cards. ... Among the hits will be Get To Know and Donruss Sketches autos as well as Retro 1997 Donruss Signature Series, Signature Series and Next Day autos. ... Among the parallels will be Red, Black and and Gold Vinyl as are teased for base and Optic cards here for both base cards and Rated Prospects inserts. ... Boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $110.

Update (May 23): There will be hobby blasters ($25 SRP) for this release with one autograph or memorabilia card per six-pack box. There will be 12 inserts per box with at least three of those being Red & Blue Laser parallels only found here. At appears all inserts will be in play here, including Bomb Squad, Diamond Marvels, Whammy! and Gold Whammy! cards.
