What's buzz-worthy: Historic Autographs once again looks back at World War II with a release packed with cards that examine the "villains, heroes, battles and events that still shape our world today."

The Basics: There will be 12 packs and a holiday bonus pack in this one with cut autos falling one in every four boxes -- a mix of historical figures and notable athletes of the era that includes John F. Kennedy, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, George Patton, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson, Winston Churchill, fighter pilots, medal of honor recipients and others. Also in there will be a new look for DNA Hair cards, sand from the beaches of Normandy and Pearl Harbor, relics from the D-Day invasions (pieces from landing craft, gliders and soldier-worn armbands) and more as seen below. The base set will have four parallels with varying front styles based on countries. The base set is the United States version with British (announced /300), French (/150), German (/100) and Japanese (/50) parallels. There will be between six and eight parallels per box. ... Also in play -- see the odds below -- will be sketch cards, chrome inserts, buybacks, ration stamp relics, lenticular cards and weapons stickers.
