What's buzz-worthy: A popular and long-running Image Comics book turned animated series on Amazon Prime gets a turn on trading cards from Keepsake with a meaty debut release that includes 600 cards with more than 3,000 unique versions and a variety of types within the product.

The Basics: Among the chase cards here will be Autograph Signagraph cards with single, dual, triple and quad versions as well as single, dual, triple, quad and jumbo cards featuring pieces of original Invincible books. Joining them will be hand-drawn animation artwork, Season 1 animation film cells and more. The Laser Signapatch Autograph cards are "ultra rare" and have pieces from issue Nos. 1-4, 6 and 9-13 -- which form Season 1 of the show. These cards will be found every one or two cases, while "the ultimate chase card will be the 1st Edition Invincible Laser Signapatch Autograph Relic card featuring original pieces of a CGC 9.2 Invincible No. 1," according to Keepsake. That one is limited to /99, /10, and 1/1 with odds being one in every 3,377 packs/211 boxes/20 cases.

Among the inserts will be Gem Stones, Episodes, Characters, Mauler, Guardians, Posters, Villains, Human vs. Super, Diecuts, Ovalocity, Extraterrestrial Threats and Invincible Moments. A Killer Splatter card will be even tougher at one in 699 packs (70 boxes), while "ultra rare" 1/1 Masterpiece cards in Black Gold, Vinyl and Special Foils also will be in play. The 64-card boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $59.95.

Update (Aug. 27): There also will be 32-card blaster boxes for this one with one Relic per box. Atop that, there will be four-card hanger packs that are the home to foil cards -- a Blood Splatter parallel -- only found in both formats.
