What's buzz-worthy: Pieces of the Past takes to the high seas with a set focused on some icons of yesteryear with a mix of explorers, pirates and more all in one spot.

The Basics: All cards are made with a foilboard look with 60 base cards having Silver Rainbow, Red Rainbow (/50) and Gold Rainbow (/10) versions. There will be 100 relics to chase with singles, jumbos, duals, triples and quads among those finds and they will have Silver Rainbow and 1/1 Cracked Ice versions. All memorabilia pieces will be embedded into the card with handwriting samples, cut signatures, shipwreck items, pirate maps, original maps and ship manifests among the pieces used. ... Subjects include Blackbeard, Sir Francis Drake, Ferdinand Magellan, William Kidd, Marco Polo, Sam Bellamy, Anne Bonny, Henry Morgan, Black Bart, Edward Low, Mary Read, Charles Vane, Ching Shih and Christopher Columbus for starters. ... Regular boxes carry a suggested retail price of $79.95.
