What's buzz-worthy: Topps returns to the WWE ring for the first time since 2021 with a Chrome release that will be packed with star power and plenty of flash and ink ... but with smaller boxes.

The Basics: Full info is still to come here but inserts for this one will include Helix, Mania and Headshots, while Allen & Ginter and a Women's Division set also appear to be in play. Future Stars, Marks of Champions, Main Event, Hall of Fame and at least two other styles of autographed cards were teased for this one. ... There will be 12 eight-card packs per hobby box, according to early teaser images.

Update (Jan. 16): Full info is in -- but no checklist -- with the base set including 200 cards. A hobby box will include 16 Refractors, four serial-numbered Refractors and at least 12 other inserts along with the base and autos. Every case will include a Helix, Headshots or Mania card. Parallel lineups are meaty for this one -- see gallery -- with exclusives in the Breaker boxes. ... Inserts will include Paradigm, 1985 Topps Legends (active stars in retail per the odds) and Women's Division with Refractor parallels including standard (one in every other box), Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Black (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors for those. Other inserts will only have Gold, Black, Red and Supers and those will include The Time Is Now, Slammy, Shifting Gears, Family Tree and Embedded. Inserts found on the case level in hobby boxes will include Mania (one in 432 packs) along with Headshots (one in 720), Helix (one in 295), Let's Go! (one in 675) and Feel The Pop! the super-rare find at one in 8,189 packs. Another chase will be 100 Championship image variations as well as The Rock Retrospective cards.

Autographed sets will include basic Refractor autos with Red, Orange, Black, Red and Supers at standard volumes, while also in there will be Blue Brand, Red Brand, Legendary and NXT auto sets. These will have Refractors, Blue (/150), Gold, Orange, Black, Red and Supers at same volumes unless noted. Joining them will be Main Event autos, Marks Of Champions and Hall of Fame with the full rainbow of parallels. Dual-autos will include Black (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Supers to chase. Breaker box autos will have Geometric Refractors with Gold, Orange, Purple (/10), Red and Black versions along with other standard colors.

Update (retail): Seven-pack blaster boxes will include three exclusive Sepia Refractor parallels, four other Refractors from a deep lineup of possibilities and then seven inserts. There will be 40 boxes per case. Retail-only inserts will include WrestleMania Recall, Allen & Ginter, 1985 Topps Legends (active stars), Title Town and TAG Team cards. All will have a deep rainbow of parallels. A rarer find will be Persona inserts at one in 280 packs. Ink will be in play from all sets here with The Rock Retrospective autos a chase with Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels in there. ... Mega boxes will include 10 X-Fractors per box and other parallels will include Red-White-Blue (/85) and Black-Gold (/13) parallels. There will be either one serial-numbered parallel or autograph per mega.
