What's buzz-worthy: The checklist and odds are not yet in for a new year of Finest, but we have the basics for the flashy and colorful brand arrives when once again with a new batch of players and plenty of artistic flair next month.

The Basics: The base set once again will be tiered this time around with three groups -- Uncommon, Common and Rare -- with parallels in play in both color and texture. ... Inserts/subsets teased will include Headliners, Smashing Through, Bullish, Arrivals, Creators and Gusto, while hits will include mem-auto cards, Topps Rookie Cup Anniversary autos, Gustographs, Moments autographs that appear to have on-card signatures. ... Packs will include 10 cards and a typical box will include six Uncommon cards, two Rare cards, two Refractors, 10 other parallels and 10 other inserts. At the case level, there will be one Finest Moments auto and one case-hit insert each time.

Parallels for the Common tier will include Refractor, Checkerboard, Oil Spill, Magenta (/350), Sky Blue (/325), Purple (/250), Blue (/200), Purple Checkerboard (/150), Blue Checkerboard (/99), Green (/75), Pearl Checkerboard (/60), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Black (/20), Red Lava (/10) and 1/1 Superfractor.

Parallels for the Uncommon tier will include Refractor, Checkerboard, Oil Spill, Magenta Refractor (/300), Sky Blue Refractor (/250), Purple (/200), Blue (/150), Purple Checkerboard (/99), Blue Checkerboard (/75), Green (/35), Pearl Checkerboard (/40), Gold (/25), Orange (/20), Black (/15), Red Lava (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor.

Parallels for the Rare tier will include Refractor, Checkerboard, Oil Spill, Magenta Refractor (/200), Sky Blue (/150), Purple (/125), Blue (/99), Purple Checkerboard (/75), Blue Checkerboard (/49), Pearl Checkerboard (/30), Green (/25), Gold (/20), Orange (/15), Black (/10), Red Lava (/3) and 1/1 Superfractor.

The four main insert sets -- Arrivals, Timelines, Creators and Debut -- will have standard Refractors as well as Sky Blue (/150), Purple (/125), Blue (/99), Green (/75), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Black (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels. The rarer inserts -- Let's Go, Fiesta, Bullish and Gusto -- will have Reds and Supers, while Smashing Through and Headliners will only have Supers to chase.

For autographs, there will be Finest Moments, Creators, Creators variations, Finest autos, Gustographs, Rookie Cup Anniversary, Rookie Cup Duals, buybacks and a mystery redemption and then for auto Relics just a set for the rookies. Parallels for those sets have been added to the gallery below.
