What's buzz-worthy: The earliest teases of the second series of the Topps baseball card flagship set are here -- the packaging formats -- with Shohei Ohtani leading the way on all fronts.

Keep reading for more info.

The Basics: The lineup figures to be the same as Series 1, but we'll wait for a formal reveal there beyond the fact that there will be 350 cards with parallels in play -- and all Series 1 Black parallels should also be included in this one, per past company statements. Eight box formats are below along with a jumbo pack.

--

Update (May 12): We're still awaiting the checklist but the base set will be another 350 cards -- and likely the same lineup of everything (and more with the return of the previously jettisoned Black parallels). Among the sets teased are Heavy Lumber (announced /500), more 1990 Topps inserts, new All Kings, K-Zone die-cuts, City Connect Swatch Collection auto Relics, Major League Material dual autos (/50 max), World Champion autos, 1/1 sketch cards,  patch auto cards (/50) and more Real One autos.

--

Update (May 13): More images and parallel details have been added to the gallery. ... Among the inserts in this one will be Summer Superstars, OPS Bests, Duos, First Pitch, All Kings, K Zone (SP), ꓘ Zone (SSP), 1990 Topps, Heavy Lumber and sketch cards as mentioned. The standard inserts will have foil parallels -- Pink, Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Black (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Foilfractors. The 1990s will have Pink, Real One (/90), Gold, No Name (/35), Black, Red and 1/1 Platinum's at same volumes unless noted. Mega boxes will have Crackle Foil parallels for the 1990 cards -- Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Black (/10) and Red (/5). Stars Of The MLB also will be back fro retail with Gold, Orange, Black, Red and Foilfractors.

Auto Relic sets will include Flagship auto patches, Major League Materials, MLM duals, City Connect and Heavy Lumber. Volumes and parallels there are noted in the gallery. Auto-only sets will include Baseball Stars (with duals and triples), 1990s, First Pitch, World Champion (with duals), Signature Tunes and Real One. A retail-only set will be Rounding The Bases auto Relics.

Relics will include MLM cards, 1990s, City Connect and In The Name 1/1s. The first three will have Blue, Gold, Orange, Black, Red and Platinum parallels at same volumes.

Box-topper packs also will return -- one per hobby, two per jumbo.

Can you just get the series instead of buying individual packs

Did they remove the hanger boxes or is it simply mistakenly not put on here?

Probably coming. Topps isn't real good about rolling out full info all at once these days. What's here is what was available initially.

Don't like that they give you images of cards that aren't in the set...I like the image they have for the Kimbrel base card but I don't see him anywhere in the checklist

Given their erratic info releases these days -- no set sticking to any specific where or when routine -- I'm not sure I'd trust anything posted anywhere for a checklist until Topps officially releases it.

It don't say anything about the 1/1 that is the very first card that is printed I pull one the other day a mookie Betts it has the stamped first card on the front and have the 1/1 on the back but you can't find nothing much about it I have seen like two on eBay I don't know if people are just not selling these cards and hanging on to them or are they that hard to pull this would be my first ever 1/1 pretty excited about it I wish I could get some kind of estement on how much these cards go for I seen one going for a hundred and seventy five dollars but I believe the mookie Betts would go a little higher could be wrong anybody have anything on that
