What's buzz-worthy: Topps revisits old-timey tobacco cards with a T206 companion that carries a little more color, the T205 series, but with the same general approach of past editions.

The Basics: There will be 32 base cards per box along with eight parallels or inserts in a typical box with an auto crd in every fourth box. The base set will be 300 cards with past stars alongside today's names each with the following familiar parallels -- Piedmont, Sweet Caporal, Sovereign, Polar Bear, Cycle, American Beauty, Broad Leaf, Drum, Blank-back, Gold Leaf, Wood Stock and Christy Mathewson backs. There also will be a design variation for all 300 cards.

Meanwhile, insert sets will include T80 Rookies, Presidential First Pitches, Vintage Ballparks, All-Star Game Hat variations, City Connection variations, No Cap variations and a Launching Of The Titanic "SSP" card.

Topps also revealed the checklist, packing 79 players with on-card autographs here. Among them are Sandy Koufax, Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, Ken Griffey Jr., Ronald Acuña Jr., Derek Jeter, Ichiro Suzuki, Nolan Ryan, James Wood, Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz and a number of rookies and other past and present names.
