What's buzz-worthy: The full hobby details for the Update series of Topps' flagship baseball cards are still to come, but the box subject has been teased and it's Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong.

The Basics: This one will include newly traded players, rookies and highlights from this year's Home Run Derby and MLB All-Star Game as well as a continuing selection from what was found in the first two series.

Update (Sept. 29): There's some new info -- but still plenty more to come -- for this one with what's known so far is a 350-card base set "with a sprawling lineup of parallels" that will include Gold, 1/1 Foilfractors and a new wave of Holiday variations in blasters. Other inclusions are Mystical, MLB All-Star Game, Black Gold, First Pitch, Bleacher Reachers, Night Terrors and Most Valuable -- all with parallels. As with most years, this one will note All-Stars and highlights from this year's event, including All-Star Stitches Relics, All-Star Stitch autos and "a full foil rainbow of All-Star inserts." There will be another batch of 35th anniversary 1990 Topps inserts and autos and Keegan Hall art cards. Also in play will be Golden Mirror autos, Heavy Lumber, Homefield Advantage, Legendary Homefield Advantage, Stars of MLB and Stars of Japan.

Among signers here across all types of sets will include Agustin Ramirez, Chandler Simpson, Drake Baldwin, Nick Kurtz, Sandy Koufax, Marcelo Mayer, Mike Schmidt, Fernando Valenzuela, Gaylord Perry, Ivan Rodriguez, Rickey Henderson, Reggie Jackson, Dave Winfield, Elly De La Cruz, Chipper Jones, James Wood, Mark McGwire, Mike Trout, Ronald Acuna Jr., Sammy Sosa, Hideki Matsui, Greg Maddux, Kyle Schwarber, Shohei Ohtani, Dylan Crews, Bobby Witt Jr., Clayton Kershaw, Julio Rodriguez, Aaron Judge, Cal Raleigh, Nolan Ryan and Paul Skenes among many others.
