First Buzz: 'Star Trek: Discovery' Season 1 trading cards

What's buzz-worthy: The newest Trek series hits cardboard for its first season with plenty for collectors to chase out there in the final frontier (and here, t0o).

The Basics: The basic set of this one will include 90 cards for Season 1 (six per episode) with four standard insert sets that will include Behind The Scenes, Characters, Opening Credits/Artwork and Mirror Universe. Most of them will be found just once or twice per box with the Mirrors found one per case. Also planned will be 12 wardrobe relic cards (odds TBD) and autographs that will be found two per box. Case-toppers will include a cast poster card and a Klinton poster card, while a six-case incentive will include a Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly) auto Relic and a nine-caser will be a dual auto for Sonequa Martin-Green (Burnham) and Jason Isaacs (Lorca). Dealers who buy 18 cases will land an Archive Box that will include a run of everything and some added bonuses only found there. Separately available will be an album with its own exclusive promo card.
