What's buzz-worthy: The newest Trek series hits cardboard for the second time with this release including one more hit in every box compared to its debut along with some other features that add to the chase.

The Basics: Among the signed cards will be inscription, dual-signed cards, full-bleed design cards and auto-Relic cards for starters. (Initial signers list below.) Other possible hits here? Sketch cards -- and artists will include work from Bill Crabb, Jason Davies, Louise Draper, Javier Gonzalez, Kevin Graham, Charles Hall, Jason Saldajeno and Huy Truong for starters. ... The base set will include 84 cards (six cards for each episode). For inserts, there will be nine Character/Quote cards (one per box), 11 acetate Character cards (one 96 packs), nine Expressions of Heroism metal cards (/150), 10 Starfleet’s Finest Painted Portrait metal cards (/50), nine Character Stickers (one in 144), 27 Storyboard Art cards (two per box), 27 Short Treks episode cards (three per box) and three Opening Credits/Artwork Expansion cards (one in 96 packs). ... One topper per case will be Back-to-back metal cards while six-case incentives will include a dual-auto card for Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly) and Bahia Watson (May Ahern), a nine-case auto-Relic card for Sonequa Martin-Green (Michael Burnham) and an 18-case purchase will get an Archive Box with extras and nearly everything from the release packed inside. ... This one also will have an album with a promo card as is standard for most non-sport releases.
