What's buzz-worthy: This series for Trek veterans arrives for a second time on cardboard with this one taking on two seasons this time and including more than a few memorable names -- no matter the Trekker's generation.

The Basics: Among the signed cards will be some key names -- Patrick Stewart, Michael Dorn, John de Lanci, Amanda Plummer, Brent Spiner and even the director of a time-travel episode, Lea Thompson ... you know, Marty McFly's mom (among many other roles, including one in this series). ... The base set for this one once again will include 60 cards (three per episode this time) and among the insert sets will be Season 2 Gallery Cast, Season 3 Gallery Cast, Season 2 Characters, Season 3 Characters, Relationships, Then and Now and Travel Posters. Relationships are two per box, while the rest fall one per box or one in every other box this time around. ... Sketch cards (TBD odds) will join ink (three per box) as well as Costume Relics (one per box). Among sketch artists will be Charles Hall, Norman Jim Faustino, Wei Ho, Westley Smith, Scott Rorie and Roy Cover. ... For bulk buyers, there are six-case and 12-case incentive cards. For the sixers, there will be an over-sized auto from Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) and Jonathan Frakes (William Riker), while the 12-case buyers will get an incentive box that will include extras such as auto variations, printing plates and more. An album for this one also will be produced with its extra being an exclusive promo card.
