Gallery: 2016 Panini Preferred football cards + final checklist

The NFL season might be getting closer to winding down, but the football card world is just warming up with many high-end releases on the way from Panini America.

One of those sets arrives today in the form of 2016 Panini Preferred.

Each box of this one includes just five cards -- all hits -- with four autographs and one memorabilia booklet card.

The Silhouettes are among the most-popular creations but the diecut cards also arrive in force this year as do booklet cards for Super Bowl teams, Pro Bowl players and more.

A small number of cards from this brand have popped up on eBay so far -- check them out in the gallery below. Buzz will add to the gallery in the coming days as interesting cards are found.
