Giancarlo Stanton's final game-used Miami Marlins jersey could be yours ... for a price

What would you pay for Giancarlo Stanton's final Miami Marlins jersey?

It could be yours right now ... for a price.

One of Buzz's newest super-casual hobbies is looking into specific pieces of game-used MLB memorabilia direct from teams with MLB Authentication. It's not a heavy focus just yet -- it's just a result of the ol' personal collection player being a retiree going cardless these days.

Some MLB teams have mailing lists you can join for updates about memorabilia available after games but most do not. Many sell items in team shops and via MLB Auctions (not always as auctions, though). The Miami Marlins are one team that does have a mailing list and there are some gems to be found there on the cheap.

But then there's the Stanton section. (And an Ichiro Suzuki section, too.)

The Marlins' mailing list inventory includes jerseys, bats, baseballs, hats and locker tags -- all from recent seasons and nearly all with MLB Authentication. Prices are relatively modest in spots -- some jerseys as low as $150 and game-used baseballs as low as $30 -- but Stanton's stock and that final gamer are still hefty highlights even though he's a New York Yankee now.

The reigning National League MVP's last jersey worn for the only franchise he had played for until this season carries a price tag of $20,000. Other jerseys aren't as hefty. His No. 42 Jackie Robinson Day jersey last year is just $2,000, while most Stanton gamers check in around $3,500. (Ichiro is similarly priced and also readily available.)

For other Marlins players, you can land spring training jerseys for as little as $150 and there are even Don Mattingly jerseys up for grabs, too -- just no pinstripes on those.
