Historic Autographs readies 'Pieces From the Trash' promo cards & more for this year's National in Cleveland

"Pieces From the Trash" promo cards featuring pieces of cut documents will be just one of the promo cards given out by Historic Autographs at this year's National Sports Collectors Convention starting Aug. 1 in Cleveland.

The first 20 visitors to the company's booth at the show each day will get one of these cards -- a memorabilia card featuring the remnants from a signed document -- for free. Others may receive two cards if they one a sealed box of HA product at the company's booth. Other possible rewards for ripping will include presidential coin and stamp relics as well as some other surprises.

Among the teased Pieces card subjects will be George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Harry Truman, James Garfield and Lyndon B. Johnson. There will be more than 30 in all.

The company also will have a contest to win a promo box of its new POTUS Premium Edition cards with evert $100 spent getting an entry for the box which will be given away on the Saturday of the show at 4 p.m.

The company also will launch its National-only 2018 Historic Autographs GOAT product at the show. It will include eight cards per box -- three graded cards, a Friends n Foes basketball box, two graded Mob cards and two bonus cards that will be ungraded insert cards, Rookie Cards or autographs from notables from around the sports world. Every box of GOAT will include at least one Rookie Card of Tom Brady or an insert, auto or RC of Michael Jordan inside. One third of the boxes will include both, according to the company. Boxes opened at the booth also will receive the two show promo cards.
