How's this for a hair-razing piece of Ovechkin memorabilia?

The biggest star on the Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals has shed his playoff beard -- and you can own the pieces that helped make that happen.

No, seriously.

Alexander Ovechkin's Gilette razors -- two blades with unique images added to their handles -- are up for grabs on the NHL Auctions block as part of one-of-a-kind autographed photo displays.

Both auctions end today and the framed displays crafted by Fanatics include not only the Gillette blades he used but also their signed boxes as part of the items that include a montage of his season and their use.

They're both at less than $600 with about nine hours to go in the auctions and they're a unique piece for the winner of the Conn Smythe (Stanley Cup MVP) and Maurice Richard (leading goal-scorer) trophies this year. The 32-year-old Ovechkin just finished his 13th season in the league, is an 11-time All-Star and led the league in goals seven times before winning his first championship.

He's appeared on nearly 6,000 different hockey cards in his career -- his Rookie Cards are in 2005-06 releases -- and has more than 1,300 autographs but none are as unique (and weird) as these.
