Ichiro Suzuki leads way for 2019 Topps Now baseball cards (plus ongoing gallery)

A new MLB season is officially here with the Opening Series in Japan and the star of the show is the focus of the first Topps Now cards reflecting that regular season offered this year.

A total of 14 cards -- including autographs and game-used memorabilia -- make up the first day's offerings and 11 of them are for future Hall of Famer Ichiro Suzuki.

Six autographed game-used base cards and three game-used baseball cards join a pair of base cards for the star who made MLB history as the oldest American League position player ever as part of the first regular-season series games in Japan since 2012. The autographs ranged from $249.99 (/99) to $3,499.99 for the 1/1, while the sold out baseball cards started at $199.99 (/10) and ranged up to $999.99 for the 1/1 there.

The standard card lineup here will be printed to order after the 24-hour printing window ends at Topps.com. The cards are $9.99 apiece with quantity discounts available up to 20 copies ($79.99). Bundles also are available.

The first day's stars beyond Suzuki include Khris Davis, Stephen Piscotty and Domingo Santana. You can see them all in the gallery below, which will grow as new cards arrive throughout this season.
