Jalen Green signs Panini America card & auto card deal

Panini America has a new team member.

Likely top-five pick and NBA G League standout Jalen Green has signed an exclusive card and autographed card deal with the company, according to an announcement released on Thursday.

“Jalen is the kind of exciting, offensively gifted young player that fans and collectors alike clamor for and we’re excited to partner with him for such a meaningful relationship,” said Panini CEO Mark Warsop in a prepared release. “He will absolutely be a key figure in our products not just during his rookie season, but for years to come. He’s a bright part of our future and the future of licensed trading cards.”

Green averaged 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 15 games this season as a member of the G League Ignite. He was the top-ranked prep shooting guard in the country before that move and his Panini cardboard debut will come via Panini Instant on draft night next month (July 29) before arriving in Panini's full array of 2021-22 basketball releases.

“This is such an exciting time in my life and I’m thankful that Panini America is on this journey with me,” Green said in a prepared release. “As a kid collecting trading cards, knowing that I’ll have my own soon is exciting. I’m happy to be aligned with the best in the industry.”
