Kobe Bryant autographs coming to Panini Eternal on Friday

The ink is now Eternal.

Panini America teased a pretty notable arrival to come on Friday as Kobe Bryant autographs will be made available on the Panini Eternal platform of high-end cards.

There will be three types of cards -- a standard auto limited to 24 copies, eight Yellow versions limited to only eight copies with an "81 points" inscription and a 1/1 Black card that carries a notation that reads "5X champ" and "18X All-Star."

The prices for the cards were not revealed in advance but they will be posted to the Eternal site at 2 p.m. on Friday. These are the first autos in the ongoing 2016-17 Panini Eternal Kobe Bryant Tribute set that recently launched alongside high-end memorabilia cards from college sports, the NBA and the NFL.

They will only be available for 72 hours or until sold out.
