Legendary Dr. Seuss characters coming to Funko toy lines

There would be a rhyme here but there's no time here -- the Funko news must be passed.

Simply put, Dr. Seuss is coming to toy stores soon thanks to the Everett, Wash.-based company as part of four lines unveiled Wednesday that help celebrate The Cat In The Hat, Sam I Am and so many more of the memorable characters from the children's books that have sold millions of copies worldwide.

Funko Pop! is where eight Seuss creations will be found soon, while Dorbz toys will also have a heavy presence -- The Cat, Sam, Horton, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Sam's Friend and Fox in Socks are among them.

The Pop! toys will have some exclusives -- one with a fish bowl (Books-A-Million), one with an umbrella and cake hat (Box Lunch) and that's flocked (Barnes & Noble). The Dorbz also will have some chase toys with a Cat in the Hat (Hot Topic) and flocked Things (Barnes & Noble) with a Cat in the Hat umbrella chase variant in the mix at all locations.

Rounding out the offerings will be a set of Pen Toppers and Pop! Keychains and they are all available now.
