Loupe adds $5,000 chase into MegaMix amid National plans

Loupe will be at The National this year with a big presence you can potentially explore in big ways with a visit to the Blowout Cards booth.

How big?

Thanks to Loupe, we revealed on Friday that a $5,000 Blowout Cards voucher will be included in one box of the 2021 Blowout MegaMix available for pre-order now and at the show. That one will be randomly inserted into a box randomly so you don't even have to be in Chicago to win big ... or someone who buys a box at the show could do some extra shopping right then and there. Those who attend the five-day show should make plans to visit the booth on Friday (July 30) to experience some of Loupe's new technology and get in on the action.

Loupe is a live-streaming e-commerce app launched late last year ... keep reading to see more of what it's all about.

The app is focused on helping group-breakers and their potential customers get their cardboard and join breaks simply and safely all in one spot -- and it's got some big investors interested. The company revealed last month that it raised $12 million of funding led by Forerunner Ventures, a San Francisco venture-capital firm.

Loupe describes itself as combining "the community of video game streaming with the excitement of opening cards" and the app helps buyers find sellers, process their payments and watch breaks live by trusted sellers. And, it says there is "no financial risk to buyers or sellers, as Loupe facilitates transactions to protect everyone from chargebacks and refunds."

The company was founded last year by Eric Doty, formerly of Mobcrush and Microsoft, where he worked on mobile broadcasting for video game streamers and in the Xbox games divisions respectively. Now he leads a team that's self-described as "just some people who really like cards."

The company also coordinates its breaks schedule via social media -- Twitter here as well as Instagram here -- where big pulls are shown off as well on a regular basis. It also will be launching a physical shop in Miami soon.
