Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard is this year's Topps Now intern

Topps Now was a game-changer last season for baseball cards and it's been a big enough hit that "Fred" and friends now have an intern.

You might know him.

New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard has been selected for the role and was introduced to media at a Topps news conference Thursday night.

Check out the details in the video above -- and expect to see more from The Intern sometime soon. His first job was to greet Bartolo Colon and present him with a jumbo card of his famed home run card last season -- that's at the end of his news conference.
