MLB & NASCAR stars join Ruth and Ali on new Funko Pop! toys

Some of the biggest sports stars of the past and some of NASCAR and MLB's biggest names of today will all be appearing on Funko Pop! toys this year.

Babe Ruth and Muhammad Ali get things going in a legends line, while Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt lead the pack for new NASCAR toys revealed just as the Daytona 500 and a new racing season starts today.

Joining them will be a huge lineup of MLB stars and mascots -- and for NFL fans a two-pack for Shaquem and Shaquille Griffin of the Seattle Seahawks.

The MLB lineup includes Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Chris Sale, Aaron Judge, Blake Snell, Francisco Lindor, Jose Altuve, Justin Verlander, Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Khris Davis, Juan Soto, Max Scherzer, Noah Syndergaard, Ronald Acuña Jr., Aaron Nola, Yadier Molina, Anthony Rizzo, Will Myers, Clayton Kershaw and Buster Posey. Meanwhile, 15 teams' mascots get the nod. A couple of players also will have Fanatics exclusives.

For NASCAR, the lineup includes eight toys, a mix of past and present names -- Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Bill Elliott.

Release dates will vary by series for these sports toys as these were among dozens of forthcoming figures announced by the company during Toy Fair New York.
