MLB teams will don pink uniforms for Mother's Day games on May 8

Pink bats, uniforms, cleats and other accessories have been commonplace for MLB teams playing on Mother's Day in past years, but this year will be a bit different.

There will be pink uniforms that will now have a chance at making their way into your memorabilia cards.

MLB revealed the new uniforms last week with a blue theme for Father's Day in June, camo unis for Memorial Day, and Red-White-Blue unis for the Fourth of July. For the Blue Jays there will be Memorial Day and July 4th specialty uniforms.

Royalties from the sales of these uniforms (now available on MLB.com and likely elsewhere) will benefit cancer and veterans organizations. A small selection of the caps and uniforms can be seen below.
