National Baseball Card Day is Saturday ... are you ready?

The clock is ticking down and the cardboard is ready once again.

Saturday is Topps National Baseball Card Day and whether you're a regular at your local card shop or you're somebody who ripped into packs just for the gum decades ago, some free stuff can be yours at participating shops as well as The Fantastic Store.

Want to see the cardboard? Keep reading about the annual event that Topps hopes will draw people into collecting with some new stuff to add to their stash.

There will be free NBCD packs for those who visit a shop on Saturday and there will be a bonus card available with a $10 purchase. This year that's a Fernando Tatis Jr. card and there is a second bonus that you can get with a visit one week later on Aug. 14 -- an Alec Bohm card.
