NSCC reveals Panini's promo set for show's VIP pass buyers

Panini America is gearing up for this year's National Sports Collectors Convention set for Aug. 1-5 in Cleveland, Ohio, and the first sign of that is the company's promo card set going to VIP ticket-holders that was formally unveiled by the show today.

The 10-card set will include young stars from three sports -- baseball, football and basketball -- with an emphasis on school colors in most instances. The set will be included in the VIP bags and include the following players:

Sam Darnold, USC Trojans
Saquon Barkley, Penn State Nittany Lions
Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma Sooners
Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Angels
Rhys Hoskins, Philadelphia Phillies
Ozzie Albies, Atlanta Braves
Rafael Devers, Boston Red Sox
DeAndre Ayton, Arizona Wildcats
Marvin Bagley III, Duke Blue Devils
Luka Doncic, Slovenia

It's the first of a few bonus sets that VIP holders will receive and those who opt for the other deluxe VIP packages will receive two sets. We'll have more on these upcoming items right here on The Buzz when they're available.
