Santa Claus has signed an autograph deal with Topps for a new online release unveiled by the company today as the 2016 Topps Santa Claus set is now available only initially via Topps.com.

Terms of the autograph deal were not disclosed but he'll be signing cards found one per set in this release.

Not to be outdone, Mrs. Claus also will be signing cards for this product as will one of the elves found at the North Pole.

This year's Baseball Hall of Fame ballot has been released by the Baseball Writers' Association of America with 19 new names as well as the players who appeared on last year's ballot but failed to get 75 percent of the vote.

Below is the list of names that all BBWAA members will receive. The writers can vote for as many as 10 players and those who appear on 75 percent of all ballots cast will go into the Hall. Your challenge here is different.

Topps has Trout hooked for a few more years.

An already existing exclusive autograph deal with the lone maker of MLB-approved baseball cards announced on Monday that it has signed an extension to its deal with American League MVP Mike Trout.

“Topps has been my home since I was drafted,” Trout said in a prepared release. “I’m so happy to be part of the Topps family and look forward to working with this innovative company for many years.”

Simply put, he's easily the best driver of the here and now -- and his cardboard is among the most-overlooked when it comes to value vs. performance. There are others who have done far less who sell just as well or better.

It's a leading candidate for the most-influential and most-innovative brand of the year and one dealer who took on the challenge of collecting the 2016 Topps Now baseball card set feels now might be the time to sell.

A collection of more than 665 standard Topps Now cards along with the All-Star and Off-season sets. It doesn't include the myriad of autographs and Relics that were offered throughout the year -- or any of the team sets or Cubs championship cards made on the side, but just building the standard set is challenge enough.

This box is admittedly probably off the radar of many collectors but that doesn't mean that it can't deliver. In fact, these can deliver well if you pull the right ink. This Brian Wilson card here? It sold for more than you might think and he's not alone when it comes to autos in there that have topped the $100 mark. Like the Panini Country release, there are non-traditional collectors chasing cards here to build sets or chase stuff they like with no regard for what something "should" cost based on what it is or its scarcity. Meanwhile, they may not know where to buy boxes -- or not want to. Those things can lead to some surprising results -- and that's not the only surprise. Check out the price on this box.

Daily fantasy sports sites seem to come and go but two of the biggest and most-dominating players in the field will soon be teammates.

After months of rumors and talks, DraftKings and FanDuel will be merging, according to a message sent to DraftKings members on Friday.
