The Panini America VIP Party roster has added some stars from the gridiron.
The newest star revealed on Friday night? Hall of Famer and Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders. Former Atlanta Falcons star Michael Vick was revealed this afternoon, while two past college football greats will also be on hand for Saturday's exclusive event.
Joining them will be three previously revealed NBA guests as well as Texas Longhorns legend Vince Young and former Oklahoma Sooners star "The Boz," Brian Bosworth.
Previously announced for the guest list were Cleveland Cavaliers first-round pick Collin Sexton, Orlando Magic pick Mo Bamba and former Boston Celtics star and NBA Slam Dunk Contest champ Dee Brown will be on hand at the event set for Saturday night in Cleveland.
Sanders rushed for 15,269 yards and 99 touchdowns in 10 seasons before retiring at age 30. He ranked third on the NFL's career rushing list and ninth in rushing touchdowns. Vick played 13 seasons on the NFL for the Falcons, Eagles, Jets and Steelers before retiring at age 35 in 2015. He threw 98 touchdowns and ran for 36 more with his elusive moves. Young's championship-clinching moment with the Longhorns in the 2006 Rose Bowl is on one of the photos he will sign for guests. His NFL career was six seasons -- five for the Titans and one for the Eagles. Meanwhile Bosworth, the first pick in the 1987 supplemental draft, played three seasons for the Seahawks after a college career with a riotous persona that left opponents in the turf.
Brown averaged 11.1 points per game in 12 seasons for the Celtics, Raptors and Magic. Bamba, a 7-foot-1 center for the Texas Longhorns was drafted sixth overall in this year's NBA Draft after averaging 12.9 points and 10.4 rebounds a game as a freshman. Sexton, a former Alabama Crimson Tide star went eighth overall after averaging 19.2 points a game as a freshman.
They're just the first six stars to be revealed to be in attendance at the event -- (need a ticket? click here) -- and more will be announced soon. The nearly sold out Blowout MegaMix boxes include an entry in a drawing to attend the party, too, with that drawing set for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the IX Center.
