Panini Black Friday promotion includes full array of cards -- and extends into Cyber Monday, too

This year’s Panini America Black Friday packs will focus on youth as well as veterans -- there's a new crop of rookies and a few new touches for the line that help hobbyists and hobby shops build collections one promo pack at a time.

The packs will include the first memorabilia cards of players from this year’s class of NBA rookies. They’ll also include, as always, autographs and memorabilia cards from Panini’s sports along with some other inclusions -- 1/1 HyperPlaid parallels, for example, and a Cyber Monday pack program only for online group-breakers.

This year’s basic set will include 50 cards along with 26 rookies each with Cracked Ice and 1/1 HyperPlaid versions. Also in the spotlight will be Collegiate Legends and Rated Rookies, while Panini Collection returns as a spotlight for photography. There also will be rookie cards for newcomers in all sports each numbered to 599. That group will include Marcus Mariota and other NFL rookies, Kris Bryant and other top baseball prospects as well as top picks from the NBA.

For Cyber Monday, there will be cards exclusive to those packs -- a 14-card Prizm set with parallels limited to 10 and 25, sometimes less. There also will be Cyber Monday cards limited to only seven serial-numbered copies and autographs of top NBA rookies.

Among the signers in this overall Black Friday elease will include Bryant, Mariota, Jameis Winston, D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns. Memorabilia pieces will include headbands, Salute to Service and Breast Cancer Awareness cards along with Happy Holidays cards, too.

Black Friday is Nov. 27.
