Panini reveals slimmed down wrapper redemption at National

With the show basically a week away, Panini America has revealed its plans for The National.

There's no VIP Party -- that's happening later in the year -- but there is a simplified wrapper redemption lineup that will happen at the show of shows as well as box wars, breaks for kids and redemption trade-ins like usual.

Keep reading for the details.

First, the wrapper redemptions ...

"Show-goers can expect limited Silver Pack redemptions each day of the show while daily supplies last. Only boxes purchased at the show from three dealers ... [Blowout Cards, of course] ... are eligible for the Silver Pack redemptions. There will be a maximum of three boxes per person per transaction and full-case redemptions will not be allowed." The products are:

On the VIP Party ...

"For many National-goers, the annual Panini VIP Party is the reason to attend the show. But this year, due to tight timelines and the broad uncertainty surrounding whether the NSCC would even take place, Panini America officials have made the tough decision to move the party. The good news: The Panini VIP Party will happen this year, it’ll just happen at a later date. Stay tuned."

Box wars ...
Panini America will have box wars each day of the show with prizes including Black Boxes, 2020 Immaculate NFL, 2020 Panini One NFL, 2019-20 Panini One NBA, 2020-21 Impeccable NBA, 2020 Optic NFL, 2019-20 Prizm Choice NBA and 2021 UFC Prizm for starters. Boxes can be purchased from any dealers at the show but have to be brought to the Panini booth sealed. The schedule can be seen below.

Kids breaks (12 and under) will take place twice a day on three days of the show -- they must register at 10 a.m. each day -- and Panini plans to reveal a "kids crate" program at the show as well as do its annual redemption trade-ins for those that are at least four months old and already in the system. Collectors should bring printouts to the show.
