Among next week's arrivals is the newest edition of Panini America's Playbook, which is a product loaded, as the name suggests, with booklet cards that have pushed the envelope pretty well in the last couple of years.
This year will be no different with a new assortment of Armory and logo-centric patch books that one could easily argue are helping change the game when it comes to memorabilia cards.
Each box contains one standard (non-hit) booklet card -- that's the base set in this one -- along with one autograph or memorabilia booklet card and one additional auto or memorabilia card. According to tweets from the company, there will be some boxes with a second booklet as the third card. Seen here is a small sampling of the images teased by the company.
Set to arrive next Friday, Playbook's boxes are presently pre-selling at less than $100.
