PSA & Collectors plan promotions for The National

PSA will have on-site grading and authentication services at The National this year as well as a submission special at the show -- and that's not all as its parent company's plans also include other options for fans of grading, authentication and more.

"This will be a great chance for Collectors to show off not only what PSA brings to the table every year, but what its other entities like Card Ladder and WATA have to offer as well," said PSA President Kevin Lenane. "We’re really looking forward to a great show."

The show is set for July 27-31 in Atlantic City, N.J. -- keep reading for more details.

Card Ladder, which calls itself "the industry leader in providing accurate, reliable online sales data for trading cards," will be at the show for auditions and an offer to try its Card Ladder Pro service (normally $15) for one month free.

For PSA, it will be doing an $18 per card “July National Special” available for PSA Collectors Club members through July 31 -- that will allow a drop-off option at the show -- a minimum of 20 cards with a declared value limit of $199 per standard-size card. The estimated non-guaranteed turnaround time is 150 calendar days. The company also will have on-site authentication, grading and encapsulation -- including crossovers, reviews and dual-service (autographed cards). On-site card grading fees will start at $250 per card for club members and $400 for non-members. Other tiers will be available at the show starting at $1,000 per card, according to the company. For autograph authentication, PSA Autograph will have a “Show Signer” special for items signed at the show -- $10. There also will be an Early Bird Autograph/Autograph Grading Encapsulation Special for other submissions. For video game authentication, WATA will be accepting take-home submissions at the show. They grade sealed games for NES and Super NES as well as other platforms and more info can be found here.
