PSA/DNA simplifies QuickOpinion service for eBay items

If you're curious about the possible authenticity of an autographed item up for auction on eBay, PSA/DNA is now offering its QuickOpinion service specifically for items on the auction site.

The service isn't new, but it's been simplified where authenticators can offer their view on an item simply by providing the auction number and other basic info.

For $10 per item, PSA/DNA will offer an opinion on the piece within 24 to 48 hours -- "likely genuine" or "likely not genuine." In the event where an opinion can't be offered, the fee will be refunded. Requests for items ending in less than 24 hours may not be available as well via the QuickOpinion eBay page.

“This is an important step in our continuing fight against forgeries,” said PSA/DNA VP Steve Sloan. “Before a collector makes a purchase, it’s now incredibly easy to get a professional opinion from PSA/DNA.”

The company also noted that winning buyers have the option of full authentication thereafter. "If PSA/DNA receives the item within 90 days of the close of the auction, you will be entitled to a $10 credit off the company’s regular authentication fee. All you need to do is attach a copy of your paid QuickOpinion invoice to the PSA/DNA submission form," said a statement from the company.

I have a stan lee autographed comic book but didnt have it gcg witnessed can i get someone to say this is stan lee which it it is like to sell it
