Pylons get all the attention in new Panini Instant NFL set

They're there all game long and they've been the target of many players looking for paydirt -- but they've never been the target of pens with ink destined for cardboard.

They're pylons and that has changed with the arrival of the first wave of 2018 Panini Instant Pylon Signatures cards that are up for grabs via Panini America's real-time cardboard platform.

Seven players and 14 total cards are up for grabs in this first wave -- a basic card (/10) and a 1/1 Black version for each rookie. They range from $14.99 to $124.99 for standard cards and as high as $349.99 for some of the 1/1s.

Sam Darnold, Nick Chubb, Keke Coutee, Anthony Miller, Nyheim Hines, Mark Walton and Daurice Fountain are in this first wave of cards made with swatches of pylons that were then signed.

New cards will be unveiled daily, according to the company. The first 14 cards can be seen in the gallery below.
