Spud Webb & Cynthia Cooper join Panini VIP Party roster

Panini America's VIP Party will have some basketball legends in the house.

Hall of Famer Cynthia Cooper-Dyke and former NBA Slam Dunk Champion Spud Webb will be part of the big show Saturday night in Chicago.

Earlier in the day, Panini revealed that Patrick Renna of The Sandlot also will have spot on this year's VIP roster for the event rewarding the high-rollers in the hobby.

Cooper, who was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010, had a career that included four WNBA titles, four Finals MVPs, two season MVPs and plenty of other honors after starring at Southern California and having plenty of successful playing time in Europe before the WNBA arrived.

Webb, who was a fourth-round pick in 1985, was 5-foot-7 and a standout for the Hawks and Kings for most of his career when he averaged 9.9 points a game. He w0n the 1986 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

Renna made his film debut in the 1993 classic revolving around a group of baseball-loving kids. His other credits have included spots on Boy Meets World, Home Improvement, The X-Files, ER, Judging Amy, The Closer, Boston Legal, CSI, Bones and GLOW.

More guests will be announced in the coming days as the company reveals details during The National, which begins tomorrow at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.
