Star Wars: The Last Jedi jumbo bonus cards a Blu-Ray extra

If you haven't already grabbed your copy of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Blu-Ray, then there may be a collectable twist for you to consider with copies of the movie at one major retail chain.

The chain is Walmart and the simple marketing extra here is a set of six extra "interchangeable covers" -- but I'll simply call them jumbo bonus cards.

You can see them all wrapping around the slipcase in a teaser on the package above and you can get a closer look at all of them below. They're slightly larger than 5-by-7s -- they're Blu-Ray sized -- and they come carefully shrink-wrapped behind the snap-case between it and the backing info sheet. However, they don't arrive with every edition of the movie.

You'll get Luke Skywalker, Leia, Finn, Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron and Rey. They're blank-backed glossy cardboard pieces that carry a copyright line on the bottom front.

Are they collectable? Sure, it seems there are plenty of options out there for notable releases these days (and there are plenty of regular Star Wars cards to collect) but it was enough for me to bite like it was a Porg -- just not as chewy.
